The project started in September 2018 and ended in August 2019. The central and starting theme here was also the “Roman Emperors and Danube Wine Route” cultural route, which currently includes more than 20 archaeological sites in Croatia, Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia and Hungary. This set of custom destinations represents archaeological sites, sites and buildings that share the same Roman cultural heritage and have mutual geographical features. In order for a single cultural destination to succeed, each destination must be strengthened as a tourism product. During the implementation, a number of tourism and professional materials have been prepared, which form the basis for the development of a more complex, well-communicated and partner-based tourism product.
